I like the Slate, I have been DDing super lame Bolt EV for 5 years since new and its been the best DD I have ever had, I treat it so terribly and it just takes it. I live up in the mountains in lake Arrowhead and commute to Fontana where I charge for free so the fuel savings have paid for it. I love railing corners in it, the most miles I have ever gotten out of a set of new tires is 10K miles, it's just too fun to rally around. the no maintenance is awesome as well (minus the tires) as it gives me more time to work on other stuff. the long range Slate is about the same range of the Bolt and I can easily go anywhere in SoCal. The issue with the EVs is you need to charge at home or work to make it worth it, long distance travel sucks, and basically everything about the fast chargers is really stupid, like Really stupid.
