Whats up! this is a build breakdown/intro of my obs f150 aka shirleytemplef150 haha. Bought this truck a little over a year ago, I started slowly chipping away at it, trying to get all the bugs worked out, and so far it's doing well! Just recently picked up a Giant64 kit and hoping to crank on the truck during the off season and get some bigger and miscellaneous stuff done. As far as a breakdown, Camburg +4.5" Beams and Radius Arms, Fox 14" Coilovers up front, Fox 14" bypasses in the rear with spring over, for now. Bumps on all corners, 37s, Raceline wheels, Winters shifter, and some other stuff. Learning a lot working on this truck and talking to a bunch of people. Stoked to post this thread, ill drop some photos and continue updates soon🤙🏼IMG_7073.jpegIMG_0169.jpegIMG_9226.jpegIMG_9187.jpegIMG_1210.jpeg

A couple things that got done recently... Nothing major, but stuff that has needed to get done for awhile. Battery relocated to the bed finally, after a few trips my core support was tearing apart. Added 2 more amazon hood pins haha, stock hood latches were not the move. Trimmed the fenders up front and threw on some fender washers and made it more sturdy instead of using just zipties. A lot of small maintenance things to finish up before next trip. Also decided to clean up and paint the beams, radius arms, and steering since it was looking pretty faded.

Ummmmmmm..... sooooooo, there's this thing that happens when welding that close to still wired in and live batteries...... andddd it's NO BUENO.
Ha

Bypasses and bumps rebuilt, and bumps shortened an inch to 2.0x2.0”. Gonna get actual usable travel numbers in the rear within the next couple days. Bypasses had abt 1.25” of shock shaft showing when fully bumped out. so hoping to get It more dialed within the next week or so. Won’t be doing spring under until next season or the following.

No update on travel numbers in the rear yet. Waiting for the bumps to get finished being shortened. In the mean time, painted and “sealed” the firewall where the AC was. Will be welding In the offseason, but this’ll do for now. Also came up on an intercom and headsets. Jack mount, center console and supporting tubes in the engine bay next…

“New” wanna be Desolate center console haha. Definitely messed up a few times making this thing but happy with how It turned out with the tools I have. Gotta re drill a few holes, and add a handful more bolts and it’ll be ready. Able to fit my shifter, intercom and radio. Going to finish mounting the accessories as well as adjusting the shifter cable and good to go.

Drove the truck to JV and back for the last trip of this season. A lot more bucking in the rear compared to normal and not 100% sure why. Other than that, truck did alright. Time to park It for the summer and get working on the long list to get done before next season. View attachment 37159View attachment 37160View attachment 37163
