Gonna head out in the AM with my girls. Wife is coming up later. Got tied up with potential pup adopters so I don't know if she's gonna bring any pups out.
Also gonna bring a few plinkers to mess around with before the clean up

Something like 250 people came out help get things clean up out there.

My girlfriend Miranda and I attended the Clean Dezert Official night event at Hodge Road with BadLinesGoodTimes and it was a blast! Given that it is late July it was hot as balls! Nonetheless we found a way to have a good time even with it being 106* out. Thank god for RV’s with AC! Saw a bunch of cool trucks, picked up a bunch of trash, hung out with some great people, had some great food! Just another rad trip with the guys. I ended up sheering a bolt that holds my engine cage crossmember together and thinking that is all I needed was to replace the bolt I pulled the crossmember out and the engine cage sprung in towards itself… who knew lol. Elliot ended up helping me pry it back with his winch and I hose clamped the tube clamp, it even held up enough for me to jump it the next day 
. Can’t wait for the next trip! See you guys at the next clean dezert event! Now enjoy some pictures

Alright, so let's take it from the top. Meat was acquired Thursday Afternoon
Cruised home and finished loading up the grills, Smoker, coolers, tables, etc etc....
I gave the mouse a once over...as on the way home from the Mexican market I noticed I had a new click when under heavy braking coming from driver side. Everything seemed just fine?..hooked the truck up to the motorhome and called it a night...Friday the plan was to head out after work around 6ish... Come into the office and find... This Bolt next to Flo..... I asked where it came from and apparently was out back where I was parked yesterday...

All day I'm like wtf did I miss a 1/2 bolt missing on something! Must be an upper shock bolt?! Somehow I missed....? Bail from the office later than I had thought still had to run to the store to get some more meat products. Go home loaded the cold stuff in the fridge in the RV walk over to the truck to find a home for this bolt. Shock bolts are all there and tight. The neighbor sees me and comes over to start heckling me. The other Neighbor sees us talking he comes over and starts chirping me about having wrenches out... I explain the mystery bolt and continue to search.. Nothing everything is there and tight! wtf then I think... wait a minute. my light bar arm... Bingo... Somehow it fell out of the container I keep it in the cab? Packed the rest of my stuff up and hit the pike about 7:15pm
Getting on the freeway and my old buddy @Dangler passes me hauling his golf cart.. Sadly he was going to Lucerne to test and not coming out to help me BBQ ! Next time!
Stopped in Adelanto to get gas and hit the store as I had forgotten all of my food and drinks at the house, in my bolt hunt
Threw in the first 175 bucks. 29.666 Gallons
. was re-upping the pump for some more punishment... had a dude cruise over to me with a little gas can... he asks if he could get a little gas... I was like Nawwww man, sorry. He looks at me and is like okay thanks anyway and starts to walk back to his clapped-out car... And I'm like " Hey bud, I got you. Bring that thing over here. What's another couple bucks right?" His eyes lit up and he thanked me. Finished up filling the RV and hit Walmart got some equipment for living. Meanwhile, @theycallmeWALLY is calling me like a bad girlfriend. Asking me where I was, finally pulled in to camp around 11pm and unhooked the truck and landed the RV in its resting place for the weekend. Cracked a few too many cold soldiers and stayed up til the wee hrs chatting with @Cleandezert @desert_steve @WW_RANGER_X @RustBucketRacer and a few others...

Super fun cleanup, as always! My trip started at 5pm Friday night from Visalia. Met up with my buddy Brad on south bound 99 and 198. Almost to Bakersfield and I get a text from Brad saying his windshield on his motorhome is falling out! So we pulled up to a Walmart in Delano, purchased some gorilla tape and taped it back in lol.
From there we pressed on trying to make up for lost time. We were cruising at 70-75 the entire way. Lucky to have been drafting this land yacht all the way to Barstow because I got the best fuel mileage I’ve ever gotten there, less than half a tank! Rolled into the clean up staging area about 9:30pm.

Woke up and slithered out of the RV. Sun wasn't yet full force. I decided to take a walk and scope the damage our there...

naturally had to give him shit about this and he was a good sport
We rallied a few of the boys for a little run toward The Bottle Tree ranch and then over to Barstow del for lunch.

Saturday morning we got up, made some breakfast burritos and got the trucks ready for a little run before the clean up. Ended up being one hell of a time!
Just shy of a 50 mile run. Definitely enough miles to scratch the itch. Don’t let the total time fool you. I left it tracking on accident when we got back to camp.

We loaded back up and head toward barstow Del
Made it to Barstow Del around 1ish. Grabbed food and then headed back to get the smoker going

We got back and started getting all of our tables and grills set up... Smoker fired up with some Oak... Threw on to good size pork butts and a couple racks of ribs....
Something that hasn't really been mentioned it was like 100ish outside.
After we got every set up, most of us sought refuge in the A/C in the trailers or RVs
I popped in Arrival and kicked back for a few thanks @f2taco for the entertainment
While we were hanging out inside the wind picked up and mangled a few easy ups.
More and more folks Continued to roll in Colin from Desert Cleanse Project.
Got started early
