1998 obs Chevy build

Currently in process of my obs Chevy prerunner/prelander build

Front kit: Schumacher metal works (hybrid long travel kit) 3.5” over per side, 17” travel, Dana 44 snouts and hubs, wilwood brakes, fox 2.5x10 coilovers, 2.5x10 bypass, 2” bump

Rear: C85 leaf under, Schumacher metal works hangers and shackles, 3.0x16 fox bypasses

Wheel and tire: 17” vision beadlocks and 37/12.50 kenda r/t

Interior: prp comp elites, atomic fab seat mounts, full interior and stereo, tons of dynamat

Bumpers: baker fabrication rear bumper, custom front

Fiberglass: adv front fenders

I know these obs Chevys are not real common for building due to the lack of support and the weak frames. But they just look so damn cool when done right and the early 2000s feels for days. I’m definitely trying to keep a old school vibe to the build while also blending modern tech and a prelander. Can also follow the build on ig @nick_presson_k10

Had a 96 1500 extended cab exactly like this for my first vehicle when I was 16. I wish I stilled owned it loved that thing sold it for way to cheap! build looks awesome so far.

UPDATE. trucks been done for just over a year now, mostly daily driver duty
first trip out with the truck was a Mojave trail run pretty good shake down.

most recent trip was out to the Barstow clean up, with about 80ish dirt miles that day

tossing in some older build pics, also added bedsides and wrapped the truck after a lil accident in pismo the weekend of 4th of july

last step will be the 6.0 ls i have built for the truck

light update

was lucky to grab a te designs cage kit during the black Friday sale so plan on trying to get that installed soonish

a few weeks back my buddy @BFAB did a raffle for one of his new 3.5" housings that i actually won and after some chat back
and forth we kind of decided a short course link setup would be simple enough, keeping the truck up and going was my main goal

UPDATE.
not much progress on the build "yet" but the parts gathering has been good

the truck will be receiving the first mitchmade gmt400 beam kit, along with Mitch's matching front hubs
shock package to be a 2.5x16 c/o and a 3.5x16 bypass, all the clearance for 40" tires
