I had to bring my dad’s GAYzr to my house. He just got it, and it’s a total basket case/ neglected car. Re-wiring every accessory, rebuilding the shocks, injectors, fuel pump and everything bushing related. I’ve never see the hype in these, and after working on them I know why. They suck.
Since I had to bring that golf cart here to fix I needed to move the ranger. I need to rebuild a front shock, finish building the light bar and replace the fuel lines cause they’re look a lil less than desirable. I also have all the heims for the rear, and a new pinion seal since I can’t get mine to stay sealed.

I had to clean it since I parked it right after using it last. I’ve always thought trucks look rad with bedsides off, and since mine were off to clean I had to take a photo.



Been driving it the last week or two. Getting gas is gay, which makes sense cause that’s where the dudes always check it out.


I’m debating modifying a shell to fit on this thing. In the early desert ride/dr days there was a black built ranger with a shell that I used to think was so rad looking. I think @Cleandezert knows the truck I’m talking about, prior to it being stolen.

I feel like things have come full circle cause when I was getting to this scene and going to ror, your truck was one of my favorites when it was a black prerunner with the conversion front end. That whole era of trucks is what really inspired the rear light rack and keeping og front end.

I just realized I had the light bar off your ranger for a while when it was leaf spring. It’s on Gort’s Ranger now

That’s what I was thinking, would be kinda cool to have a whole chase light setup complete with dust lights/strobes hidden inside the factory tail light housings kinda like how some emergency vehicles have extra lights hidden inside the headlights/tail lights. Down side is they always seem to let in moisture eventually

Ya they are. I did it to use them as dust light. I originally wired a light into into the housing. I never re-installed after the back half. Maybe one day I’ll get back to it, but probably not.
