1997 Ford F-350 4x4

Some moof milker decided to add a fifth wheel mount with 1/2 x 4 flat bar, using a less than adequate welder and skills. 3F143C23-8E35-48D2-BFED-D515F369F517.jpegA1C5F785-6246-4233-96A4-23B2B8B4294D.jpeg
Popped those turd sandwiches off with a couple whacks from the sledge.

Shackle bolts were well on their way to self clearance’d. Cut them down and gained about 3” of down travel. It’s pretty much full race now.CA43D1B3-33D4-4B1F-B8EA-51FA6BC66652.jpeg56C9BE08-104C-41F3-AE0B-69E89F9B4756.jpeg

We have a '96 CrewCab dually Fummins flatbed with a '97 Lance on it. I remember those being the hot setup when they were new. OBS and a Lance.

Lance 980 11’6 with a dry bath was a nice model. Airbags really made it ride a lot nicer on the 350 if you don’t already have them.View attachment 10107
I dig it!

It doesn’t do too bad without bags. I bought a weight distribution hitch for my trailer. I still need to make my knock off “SuperHitch” and truss.

Mine handled the weight being an 11’6” model but the bags took the sway out of it making it handle better on the great california highways. The hitch system is crazy expensive, I just made a 40” extension to flat tow my jeep since I couldn’t afford the $2k tow system.
