1995 Ford F150 DD prelander

Haven't figured that out yes but I have 1700 lb spring rate per corner on my 12" shocks. Ride height is 7" shaft showing

quick math, I would shoot for a 12 inch 450lb over a 14 inch 550lb with roughly two inches of preload

Rad truck, I love a good sleeper. I am doing this same rear shock setup on a bagged 56 GMC right now. The math is so fun..... haha

Yup cantilever isn't super complicated but calculating spring rates wasn't easy until I had it done and could use spring as a scale.

Ok got my rear springs swapped to 10" 550 over 16" 550. Also stiffened up rebound a bit from full .010 to 3 smallest shims .012 now.
Gonna do a front end prep on this truck tomorrow after work. Then drive it everyday to make sure it's running and driving good before taking to laserfest this weekend to put some more miles on this thing.

Yes they're grooved for traction. I bought them like that from a short course guy at leduc swapmeet.

I used to sell Van alstine tire groover to a lot of race guys but vevor sells China one of them now.

Also I changed the truck lights in the rear bumper for some amber lights. Not sure how bright they will be but better than nothing I'm hoping, just don't like them being as low as they are but I'm gonna rock them till I fix the camper shell and i'll do a flush mount into that when that's back on the truck.

Truck worked amazing. Mind is blown at how comfortable this truck it. My landscaper truck is my desert couch. Just sit in and relax since it drives so easy.

Now the only issue that has showed its face at Dezertfest was the rear end started making some noise when off the gas. Possible pinion bearing going out since gears suck into rin gear when off the gas. Also rubber filler neck has some cracks so when I fill it up some gas slashes and leaks out when I'm off roading till I'm down a little bit in gas

I got some 4.86 gears from @MikeLara for the rear end. Probably gonna go 4.86 in the front to drop rpm on freeway yo make the drives to and from the dirt a little better since 5.13 and 35s the v8 is too high of rpm for my liking to go on the freeway speed constantly. Also the mpg is crap at the higher rpms too.

No photos because driving the whole time.

Also random bullshit on this truck today. Worked perfect all weekend. This morning started truck and loaded onto my trailer. Drove home and about 2 hrs after loading it the battery is dead. Gauge reads like 9v but was starting and everything fine all weekend. Radio was off since after run to giant rock last night. Jump pack battery and started right up. Multimeter reads 14.1v on battery when running as gauge reads as well all weekend. Gonna charge it up and keep my jump pack and hope it's a one time random event.
