“The Stocker” phaze 2

I was out of town for a week, but I did get some of the parts welded up before I left.
Please explain this leaf and shock mount set up. Or post pics of it on the truck/CAD model or something..... I'm really interested in this. But can't picture it in my fucked up head.

U-bolt eliminator, takes different loads off the springs, adjustable pinion angle, eliminates axle rap.



Today guys are running much bigger tires, and horsepower and yes, they will break a couple of the main leaves just in front of the Axle, or they break all three right behind the front bushing eye and in some cases the front bushing I will totally enlarge want to tear away from the mount.

I am still in the early stages of developing and have not mounted on a vehicle yet and waiting on some other parts before I mount the first one.

Yeah, I've built a few u-bolt eliminator before. I was just confused as what the tabs off the front of the axle were for..... but I see it now. Kind of acts as a swya bar being attached to the bottom of the spring. Or something. Idk how to explain it. But I see now, it makes sense.

Are you running only a single anti wrap link on that rear setup? Seems that 2 would be like a radius arm and would cause bind under any articulation or would the leaves operate the same as when hard bolted to leaf pack as they currently are?

I don't think it will reduce sway, but it will load the upper links that will effect tracking & travel.

I'll have an upper link on each side for the basic Bronco's with the shocks on the inside of the frame, but I would like to triangulate the links for shocks on the outside. 2 links on each side on top of each other would bind. The leafs would act as the lower link.
 
Copy. I was meaning 2 links as in 1 per side for upper links. Doing triangulated upper link with shocks outside the frame would be cool.
 
I should have my truck back together for that race as well. I'll cruise around and give an outsider perspective on how I think it's working
 
At the event this weekend, a couple Bad Lines guys were asking about this so here’s a small update.

Putting a panhard bar on it and got the geometry worked out. Just have to weld everything up and paint before I could give it a try.

I like this unique design and thinking outside the box. I am not a designer or fabricator but I have a question, didn't Darren York's 7S 4x4 run a four link or maybe it was a 3 link with leaf springs and shackles at each end of the springs to control the pinion angle and keep the springs free, was his design trying to achieve the same thing as yours while staying within the class 7 rules?
 
Are you doing panhandle to keep the pivot Bushings at the leaf springs from over flexing or what's the purpose of that when running full leaf pack?

The 7open class started doing the double shackle the 7s had to be a fixed front pivot. I’m doing this setup to stay in the class 2000 rules.
