Started mounting up my kit today, do i have to remake upper a arm mounts? The stock ones create a negative 76” degree at ride height but goes to 90 at bump. So if i put a arm mounts at the top of my frame does the degree go closer to 90 and stay there throughout cycling? Very confused.

Doesn't that kit come with upper arm mounts integrated into the shock tower? That's what their website shows at least, if it does, use those mounts and don't move it, if you move it to the top of the frame you will certainly eliminate the instant center and get a ton of bump steer as a result, its typically unlikely in my experience that the arms will be a perfect 90 degrees to the frame at ride height, it also depends where you set your ride height as well of course.

its a wiy kit, no uca mounts.

I did this on a friends 05 or 06 Silverado, the heim on the upper on the passenger side towards the back had to be threaded almost all the way out to get it somewhat aligned. So I cut and extended the mount so he could have more adjustment on the heim.

This is also a zona kit, they did install the shock hoop/upper tab kit, but even with that it still had to be extended. I guess something changed with the arm tabs in those years.

Do you have the measurements for how far above the stock mounting points they are? and what the measurement is on the hole? is it dead center etc
