What’s up guys?
Been lurking for the past couple days, figured I’d join up even though I might be on the wrong side of the Mississippi River from most of y’all.
I’ve got a couple rigs and would like to find my way out west to play at some point. My main offroad rig is my WJ. I cheated and bought it mostly like it sits and have just done a ton of clean-up and maintenance on it. It’s about ready for another round of tear-down and TLC and has been sitting with a broken track bar since my last trip out in it in November. Nothing trick, Iron Rock 4 link kit, Superduty axles, spool’d front, OE Elocker rear, sitting on 43’s.
My other rig has been getting all of my attention the last year- it’s a 03 F250 that was my dad’s old work truck that I’ve given a new life. I don’t want to call it an overland rig because I don’t think I have a fancy enough lightweight stove for that yet but that’s the vibe at least. Spring hanger and shackles up front, blocks in the rear on 37s is about all it’s got going on. I’ve had fun piecing together some 3D printer stuff inside to mount my GMRS radio and iPad to for OnX and have a pretty nice setup in the rear coming together for camping. It’ll be getting gears and a locker next month if the front gears ever come off of backorder. Front ARB bumper and winch will come next and then it’ll probably get shipped off to the guy who originally built my Jeep for sliders and a high clearance rear bumper build.
Anyways glad to be here and get some motivation to work on my junk.
