Been slowly dialing this thing in at the same time i have been doing slave hours at work. Haven't touched the dirt yet.
This thing was running decent but had about 15 codes with a check engine light. Found out the timing had been advanced at some point by a previous owner due to the incorrect ICM being installed. Not sure exactly how that works, but the previous owner was trying to trick the ICM into working correctly on the incorrect vehicle.
I would have made the same mistake because I could have sworn this truck is a 1994, but turns out its a 1995. I had been looking at the wrong date on the door panel and never took my time to make sure i was looking at the MFG date not the Model Year.
Made some toe adjustments as well because this thing was a HANDFULL on the highway. If I almost cleaned you out on the i10 between yucaipa/redlands, my bad, i was doing my best. Much better now.
Parker in two weeks will be the first dirt shakedown for this hotrod. Looking forward to getting it further dialed in.
