Starting my first prerunner build and just trying to figure everything out. So sorry if this is a dumb question. The truck is a 2003 Ford Ranger. Im trying to find a nice set of wheels to fit it (kmc, raceline, method) but am very limited on options. The stock pattern is 5x4.5 I believe. What can I do without needing to run some cheap pos wheel adapters? Any upgrades I could do that would be stronger and also open up some more options?

Not trying to sound like a smartass, but to answer your 1st question: Buy wheels with the correct bolt pattern? A 2 minute search on Methods site says they have 11 different options in many colors for an 03 ranger.

The 2nd part: Stronger than what? The stock wheels? The aftermarket ones you mentioned? What exactly are you doing to your truck that makes you think you need extra-strong wheels?

Dont overthink it. Just get some wheels that you like, make sure you get lugnuts thatll work with em, and have fun.
