This is my rock crawler build (@_radmigo). It's a 1999 Isuzu Amigo. Solid axle swapped using a 1976 K5 Blazer Dana 44 on leaf springs. Rear was converted to leaf springs from the factory 4 link w/track bar. Rear axle is factory Dana 44HD. Axles have 5.13 gears. Front axle has a lunchbox locker with Nitro Gear and Axle chromoly shafts and Xcalibur chromoly u joints. Rear axle has Nitro 35 spline chromoly shafts with an ARB air locker. The engine is original with 180k miles. Transmission is an 80's Toyota R150f with dual gear drive transfer cases. 2.28:1 front case and 4.7:1 rear case. Front bumper is an All-Pro Toyota Pickup bumper, sliders are from XO Fab and skid plate/crossmember was custom built by me. I have a Dobinsons drawer system in the back with one drawer removed to cover my on-board air compressors. Rear-half cage is part original roll bar and part built by me. Rolling on Method NV305s and 38x13.5R17 Milestar Patagonia MTs.

Honestly, I'm not sure. It's too damn hot for local trips right now unless it's a night trip. I'll be heading out for camping in the Ranger for July 4th. First time using my new RTT!

Not sure, man. Rear locker is leaking and not engaging. Probably not going to fix it since I have an entire new axle to put in it. Gotta finish the chopper project before I get started on the axle swap.

What's the story on the new rear axle?

Trail-queer custom housing.
Ford 9" center section with 35 spline ARB and chromoly shafts. Dana 60 unit bearings bolt to the housing ends to make it full-float.
