The Lonely Pinos 250 Prelander run. Bring the kids

Who has the smallest tank/shortest range?

Me, Ken, PJ are all good for 400+
Bandon I’m sure can do 300.
Anyone have a range less than 250 miles?

What size is tank in your truck?

With a full tank I can do 360 miles if I'm being conservative. I plan to fill up in Olancha on night one before camp. I'll have 5 gallons and a transfer pump with me.

Me too bro, me too. 18 gallon stock tank, 35’s, 5:29 gears and a well worn 3.4 V6 equates to around 225 miles. I can bring another 5 gallons as a reserve.

I have been meaning to add some overland rotopax cans, maybe it’s time.

If i dont use the skinny pedal i can push 225 miles.

Its ok, dwphoto will carry extra fuel for me, he also happens to carry a spare tire for me and all the tools i would need. Oh ya and beer too! 😁😁😁😘

Ok I couldn’t help it. I jammed out to Cerro Gordo with my dad today in his raptor to check out the mine situation and double check a route.
SNOW lots of it. Couldn’t get to Cerro Gordo, too much snow.

Tried to get into saline valley, snow.

We should be good to go if it warms up the next few weeks. It’s was just 6” and maybe 1-2’ in the shady spots.

If another big storm rolls in we might be in trouble.

For those coming out Wednesday night @Endless Trails @WW_RANGER_X get fuel in lone pine before you come to camp so we can hit the dirt Thursday without going into town.
(Skipping breakfast in town)

The group camp at Tuttle creek isn’t labeled very well so see my map. Left and left again.

Lance, Don't rule me out yet, I'm still not sure I'll make it, our wedding anniversary is that Sunday (14th). You now that routine, she said it's not a problem for me to be gone... Thanks to you Lance and your dad Dave for taking the time to pre-run the possible route. It still amazes me that you and your dad rode and drove together in your truck for the entire Alcan 5000 mi rally (let alone driving to the rally and back home) and you still enjoy each other's company! And you continue to pass on that love for family and driving offroad by including kids on this Prelander run! When are you going to join in on one of the BLGT Pod Casts and show us how you packed your truck for that 5000 mi rally? What you took, what you didn't take and what you wished you had taken! Thanks again Lance and Dave! Keith

This fucking guy.

I'll probably drink all my beer watching you figure out how to put my spare (5 lug) on your truck (6 lug )🤡🤡

I'll be out there Wednesday night as well, fueled up and ready to go. 20.5 gallon stock tank good for about 250 miles.

Snow wheeling looks fun, I haven't done that in a while and never in this Jeep. Sure glad I fixed the heater.
