Also, if anyone is looking to buy two 1.5" wheel spacers (5x5.5) lmk! Will be in hammers next weekend 2/2-2/4. $50. Perfect size for broncos running stock alcoa's to prevent rub on rear wheel well

Bronky did great. Rear end could really use some leafs and big shocks but fun nonetheless. We did get a lot of side to side away on the way there/back but that was due to a toe issue from last alignment I had gotten at Firestone. Got that issue squared away.

Didn’t really get too many clips of the bronco in action, but either way not sure how to upload videos. I always get a pop up that says the files too large, any input?
 
Buy the Mile Marker premier hubs, they are cheaper and easier to engage as they do a full half turn vs the Warn stuff
 
Nice Ride, I have a 1994 and just bought that same desolate mid travel setup.

How is the ride vs. a full coilover setup?
 
This thing is pretty sick, I live in san marcos, P mountain is an OG spot, good luck on the build!

Been happy with it so far, the springs are a tad bit soft IMO but good for the price. For sure will upgrade to a 3.0 coil over later down the line
 
Better late than never, BRONKY UPDATE!

Went down to SF for the 250 back in March and enjoyed one peaceful day camping at the beach...the day after this pic was not so fun.

We spectated at Zoo Road the morning of the race and had a killer time. In the afternoon we headed to Santa Rosa and i felt like i was BJ. Up until the tranny lost all forward movement :D 15 Minutes from the main road, we ripped it in reverse with somewhat high spirits. Some of the funnest offroading ive ever had has been in a bronco driving backwards for around 5 miles. Go figure. No one in town was sober enough to help with the tranny issues that weekend so thanks to my brother in law, we flat towed the 120 miles from SF to Calexico. Crossing the border was...interesting. Luckily we had one white person in the car, made the story alot easier to tell.

I had melted some gears (honestly i forgot what they were called, after getting the bill for the rebuild it was all a blur) and had the transmission rebuilt at Metro Transmission in San Marcos. I Guess i also didn't take any pics during this time, but here is a picture of a cooler i found after a 2am night drive once i got the bronky back from the rebuild.IMG_2712 2.JPG
 
Following on the same theme of having no pics during the process, it was finally time to regear!

Dropped the Bronky off at the Axle and Differntial Shop in Escondido to regear the front and rear to 4.88 gears. The rear also got a truetrac to replace the 30 year old limited slip. Of course, went up P-mountain to test the new gearing and beauty shots.

Cut up the stock front bumper and added a valence. To this day, idk how i feel about it. Some angles look killer, other times i miss the OEM bumper. For sure going to build a skidplate bumper below the valence.
