Scammer trying to scam, what do you think?

Red flags are going off in my mind, but also if it’s not I feel dumb… person that wants these parts I’ll deliver to KOH is offering less money albeit they don’t want the 3rd member…

I also don’t wanna drive to Johnson valley .

What do you guys think? Check out the text convo in pics. I’m also sorta conflicted cause this sky dude wanting these parts could actually be getting scammed. Just weird or is this the new way of doing shit?

Seems a little odd for sure.

Have the guy give you a call and put you in touch with the place you'd be dropping it off. Then you can feel it out a little more and see if the dude is really a Nigerian Price or not

Thats a chunk of change to do Zelle / Venmo. not sure how that all works as far as seller protection on funds if they pay you and then request refund.

as far as i know Zelle is totally legit and the person who transfers the money (the buyer) cannot request it back becuase they click a button tha says they agree to the terms basically. Venmo the seller is not as well protected, but i do not think its a simple click but i also believe venmo is more pro buyer vs seller. Thats why no Venmo for me.

just so odd and then i dont even want to call him or text him cuase i dunnohow all this internet shit works and how easy it is to hack me by giving him my phone number. Why cant shit be easy. here $6k cash in person

I would tell him cash or no dice, if he is able to do zelle he has the cash, and meet him at the shop. Anything above a certain amount I always do cash, and have one of those pens lol Its just weird that he isnt there to verify what he is buying, but if he trust the shop then maybe, but i would still do cash
 
Little weird how he keeps referring to a "shop" Stealing things from a "shop" etc etc- but its clearly a house/residence.
 
Ask for pics of the truck and some of the builders work. “Dude I‘be been looking g for a builder for my own stuff!” It might be a little too late as his guard is up, but I’d just do it to prove a point not even considering the deal.

The number and the guy buying it might be real. Name checks out. Would the form of payment be “real” not sure. Him getting you cash if he is not here isn’t really possible, but that being said I still wouldn’t do it probably.

And meeting someone at KOH to sell something is ballsy, so many people crammed in one area the cell service sucks. Unless both parties can agree on a firm time and location..
 
Eh, guy from Hawaii shipping a Nissan Titan to some guy’s “shop” (house) thats blurred out on maps in Fountain Valley stacking up the red flags. I’d tell him to give the builder a deposit for the housing, then zelle the builder on delivery and have the builder pay you in cash.

Interesting, KOH guy and I have been talking for about 3 weeks so not too worried about this deal. I’m planning on meeting that guy in yucca or some where not close to the shit show. But we will see. Supposed to arrange that tomorrow.

Guess sky is back up plan at this point.
