Sat. 4/27 - Day Trip: Plaster City to Ocotillo Wells and Back

Trying to take advantage of one of the last "cool" weather days in the desert before it becomes too hot the rest of this season. Daytime temp is supposed to be around mid to low 80s. A little breezy. Plan is to meet in Alpine, Tavern Road Chevron (North side of 8), top off, get snacks @ 8:00AM. Get to Plaster City, unload around 9:00-9:30 and start heading up to Ocotillo Wells. Fuck around there and back. Three vehicles so far: My T100, luxury prerunner, old square body K5 blazer. Kids, wives are coming as well.

Blazer's wheel and axle detached and continued without the rest of the vehicle.





Then my passenger's side ball joint decided to peace out on the way back to camp.



Regardless of all the truck troubles, it was a good time and the weather was perfect.
