Hello everyone we are looking to plan a Oregon Dunes trip mid May. Wanted to see if anyone on here had any experience in the area.

Where to go?
Where to camp?
Best places for prerunners ECT?

We got a little advice that near Hauser is pretty good.

Hill climbs surrounded by pine trees? Check
Ponds in the middle of dunes and trees? Yup
Great places to eat seafood within biking distance! You betcha
Rent a RZR to destroy after you destroy your truck? Fuckin-A
Gorgeous views? Check
Light houses and other historical shit to see? Affirmative

Oregon dunes are rad..... wish I could make it up there but... too much other shit going.

Dude, we are so stoked, any advice? How are the dunes compared to Glamis or pismo?

In 2010 you had to have a flag attached to the front Bumper... not sure if that is still the case? I would assume you have to have a flag.

It's a whole new ball game as far as driving... we only drove around for a few hrs and had to go but.... the trees in the dunes add a new element to sand driving.

maybe @Lutz or @coorunner have some pointers?

Never been to Glamis, but Pismo is trash compared to Oregon. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been. Eating whoops through trees was badass. Water crossing were fun when we were getting closer to the beach.

I would love too, but.. I’m getting married early May and I’m broke dick. I was broke dick before said plans and now I’m super broke dick. I will be out in Pismo April 28th-May 1st though for my bachelor extravaganza. Just gonna be tootin along on my dirt scooter.
