Anyone have experience with Wicked Creations housings and hubs? Looking at placing an order for a full housing. But wanted to see how others have been holding up out in the wild before ordering

X2 on the schreiner. I have the 31 spline FF and am happy with it. Wish I would have gone bigger on the spline count, but it’s what was in the budget.

Told you! The 31 spline flavor is a GREAT deal though.

Only problem with Schreiner stuff is the modified (dodge?) rotors that bolt to back of the hub with 5X 5/16” socket head cap screws. The bolt pattern is small, and if not properly safety wired, Loctite-ed, and torqued, said bolts can loosen which can result in catastrophic rotor destruction and resultant danger and fuckery.

Of course I would have liked to have went bigger, but I couldn’t swing it at the time. Thank God it’s served me well thus far, but I am pretty conservative when driving it on the road to make sure it doesn’t bind or put undue load on the axles.

I wish the snouts were bigger, too. To upgrade to bigger axles I’d have to cut the snouts off and weld new ones in.

Pro tip: don’t let turbo yota drive your truck. I give 31 spline axles about 2.5 seconds of life before explosion.

But also why buy a full floater if money is that tight? Genuinely curious. Seems like a junkyard housing with some semi float 35 splines would be plenty for you.

I wanted to be able to get back home should an axle break. With the spool and full floater I don’t have to worry about it.

Is the driver side snout on the Schreiner still standard thread or did he finally reverse thread them? That gave me major headaches when I ran one on my tundra? Nut retainer would break and the hub nut would back itself out.
