Hello all, i’m Matt. I’m here to discuss and share information on my 1991 ford explorer Eddie Bauer build.

Long story short - I bought a Baja bug for a couple grand, drove it a few times and then traded it for my ‘91 Explorer. I had an Explorer in high school, so I thought it would be cool to build the truck I always wanted back then.

This Explorer must have been a pretty sweet build back in the day! It’s got a custom shock hoop in the front with dual pro comp shocks and a 4” skyjacker coil & radius arms. Rear has deavers and an underbed shock hoop setup with 4 pro comp shocks.

Went with the desolate uniball cups, they’re about 1/4” shorter height.

Love First gen exploders. Wish I could find a clean one around me. I'd swap my Rav4 for one in a heartbeat. This thing is sweet.
