I bought this van from calpoly on a surplus auction about 2 years ago for $500. It's a 91 E350 club wagon with the 460/e4od. I bought it figuring I'd flip it if it passed smog or strip it and use the motor and trans for my 55 f100 if it didn't. I fell in love with it on the drive home from SLO. It passed smog and my fiance and I decided to build a camper out of it. So far it's been to Rock creek (mammoth area) lake a couple times and we dragged up to Dutchman campground on alamo mountain above gorman too. I would eventually like to do an f250 ttb swap to make it 4x4 but so far we really love it.

Love it dude. For simplicity I'd got for a straight axle swap.

How do you like the iceco? I was going to go with one of those in my camper if the Fridge didn't work but it did so I passed on it.

Thanks! Yeah thats an option too. I just really like the ride of the van now and my bronco so much more than my 03 f250. But yeah It's gonna get whatever is cheap and available when I decide to do it haha. The iceco works great so far! No complaints and definitely better than loading and unloading my my super heavy Ozark trail yeti knock off. It would be nice to be able to keep ice or freeze stuff but I'm glad I didn't get a dual zone that's the same size. This one hold just enough food and drinks for 3 people for 3-4 days.

Nice man. I was for sure going to get a Dual zone when looking at them. Having Ice cream for the wifey when she's getting out of hand on the trip is key haha.

I have an 03 F350 as well... Rides like dog shit, but if it had radius arms and a coil or coilover it would be 10x nicer on and offroad.

Dutchman is such a fun campground. Super fun offroading up to it and has the best view of the stars. Love your build maybe I’ll see you up there one day!

where is dutchman campground? Photos almost look like the top of miller jeep trail?

Yep thats exactly where it is. I prefer to take the chill route up the fire road though.
