I think it’s about that time..

-2001 Supercrew F150 5.4l Automatic 4WD

Purchased this beauty August of 2020 for $1500 after selling my 5.4l Stupiduty SuperCab that just wasn’t cutting it anymore as a family friendly truck.

Original plan was to get the build started before selling the Ranger. Plans change and I used it as a work/family rig for a couple years.

Pretty clean little truck. Slapped some better looking tires and wheels on that betch.IMG_2543.jpegIMG_2542.jpegIMG_2540.jpegIMG_2539.jpegIMG_2545.jpeg
Put that dirty little whore straight to work

For being a relatively stock truck, it wheeled pretty well. Took it out for a couple family ventures.

The original inspiration for the truck was a build by Solo Motorsports. I ran across a few others for motivation.

Original plan for the build was linked, TTB, caged, huge cell, blah blah blah….

Plans change and I began working on an A-arm kit.

Ditched that idea because A-arms are gay and reverted back to the TTB idea.. I’m quite indecisive.

I’ve gathered parts throughout the years, sold a couple when life kicked me in the nuts, but made the executive decision to keep on moving forward.

I began ripping that turd apart earlier this month when I got a CEL for lean codes bank 1 and 2. Smog was coming up and it was the perfect time to non op.

Poked some holes through the back of the cab and began some tube work. I’m using 2” .120 DOM for all mains and 2” .095 DOM for webbing.

Wow, what a roller coaster, beamed F150 pics, then a-arms, then back to beams. This is gonna be fun.
