Kinda sorta new from Santa Barbar

Hi, joined the forum a while ago when buying a 4runner off of here. I sorta got into off-roading as a side effect of mountain biking and getting a job at a local bike shop that has a lot of offroading interested people at it. My dad had a bronco III and a manual jeep yj that went through a few different phases before we sold it and moved to Switzerland for about 7 years so off-roading was always sort of pet of my life till Switzerland where I started riding mountain bikes and bmx/dirtjumps a lot. Now I’m equally into off-roading and bikes with a bias towards go fast stuff, but because of the jeep I still like a little bit of crawling.

Yeah it snowballed into a full front end refresh, repainting the bumpers and lots of other seals and gaskets. It ended up inspiring a friend of mine to build his 3rd gen up and we’re working on making a 2.5” midtravel work really well with some valving on his now. Also for any 3rd gen ppl out there: raptor 2.5 shocks from gen 1 raptors work well with a lot of the osr kits available rn with a frame notch we found
