Hi guys, I have a 2000 Tundra 2wd V8
On the left hand side passenger rear tire is making a hard scratching noise. Any ideas what I should check for.?

Problem is that you got the passenger side tire on the left side of the truck.

Broken brake shoe hardware, bent backing plate, rock could be stuck in the backing plate, bad axle bearing. only way to really figure it out is to pull the drum to see whats going on.
