Gay times sweet dudes

Sorry I’ve been busy installing hidden security cameras on a private island. Cool spot in the virgin island. Little saint James.
Cool I'll bring the wood chipper.

First off I'd like to chime in like a bell. Lets not cry over spilled milk. The cow is on the moon, and JFK was assassinated by Mossad. WTC 7 fell at free fall speed into its own footprint because it was rigged to blow sometime in advance. Chevy 63" leaf springs are for people who haven't ridden in a good vehicle with Deaver F-67's. Our universities have been under attack since the 1960's with communist values that were designed and implemented by the Russians to turn the US into a bunch of soft whiney idiots who are weak so we cant fight back when we are invaded, and its working. Over and out.
Truth. Didn't see that coming....

Hey folks

Looking for some guidance on suspsension setup for a tacoma prelander build. I come from a rock crawling background but excited to get out in desert.

The tacoma is a 1996 extra cab 4wd auto 3.4. Currently has some race runner coilovers in the front. I’m undecided if I should do an upper control arm and spindle gussets with Chevy 63s and bypasses or smooth bodys in the rear. Or full long travel with a tundra rear deavers and coilovers and bypass front. Plan to do camping pre running exploring in the sierras and Nevada desert. Budget does come into play but I definitely understand but once cry once. And would prefer to build the suspension out once.

Bought the truck from a buddy. He added a sweet window to the front diff and it sat for while after that. It’s seen some stuff in its life. I stabbed a diff into it, changed fluid , fixed ac , and tidied it up. Ready to start ordering parts!

Honestly - what I'd personally run would be a TC setup for your application - I run their upper/lower control arms (Stock length) - great for the daily driver /// weekend warrior style application. Either stock length uppers and lowers with their ball joint eliminator kit or long travel application would be rad on this truck.

Rear end - send it with the leafs man, you'll enjoy the performance and comfort overall with the 63's with the spring under kit on it and enjoy the ride. It'll perform awesome out in the hills and desert applications!

From about 1.5 years experience as a broverlander, I would start with a 3.5" spindle lift. Then get those spring expanders. The ones you have to crank on to get your desired lift. Rancho 3000s all around. If you're able to swing it, go dual Ranchos up front and trip-Ranchos per side in the rear. Make sure to get color coordinate shaft protectors. Don't want to have a dirty shaft when mobbin' in the Sierras. In terms of leafs in the rear, get yourself some add-a-leafs to get your proper height. Plus the extra leafs will allow you to add on all the eXXXtras you're going to need when overlanding deep in the Nevada deserts. MaxxiPaxxTraxx (color coordinated with your shaft protectors), High-Lift-Jaxx (again color coordinated), RotoPaxx (color coordinated). Make sure to put on as many "TRuD Pro" stickers on your bedsides to make sure everyone knows you're sponsored by Toyota. Don't hold back my fellow broverlander. Buy once, cry once they always say. But once you get this sick ride all done up, you'll be smiles for miles.

I should’ve checked this thread before buying my parts. I wonder if I can use a dogs squeak toy for bump stops.
