First SAS 1986 4runner/22re

hello i plan on doing a SAS to my 1986 22re manual 4runner any advice on where to start? Never done one before and very excited to start and learn the process

First thing is determine what type of suspension you want. Leaf springs are stupid simple on these trucks, since the 79-85 trucks were SFA on leafs. Trail Gear and others (Marlin used to but I think they are focusing on Tacoma's now). Buy a kit, cut everything off and hot metal glue the kit on the truck.

For links, 4WU above can get you set up. Otherwise plenty of brackets and link info out there to build your own setup. 3 link with panhard bar on coilovers would be a nice setup, Keeping it low, and flexy.

Old school Pirate, Irate, and a few other forums can give you recipes for springs and shocks.
