Engine machine shop recommendation

Hi, I want to pull the 400 out of my 82 ford and get it overhauled. I'm am just looking for a high quality rebuild to have a good running reliable engine nothing fancy.

Can anyone recommend a great machine shop in the so cal area? I see alot on Google but have never been to one.

Yeah I would like the shop to do the entire long block, machine work/head assembly/crank assembly

They have been around for a very long time. Ive always used Dougans but Waynes did the machine work on my last 2 motors and they did good work.

Theres a couple very popular engine builders in So Ca that use Waynes for machine work, you should be fine.
