Looking for some Drew’s Fab reviews. I follow them on Instagram and was looking at a 3rd brake light housing. They have seemed legit when asking about a couple other product they have for my Silverado but then I started seeing some bad / scammy type reviews.

So what’s the consensus? I don’t need the part, just wanted it. It’s only $100 so not end of world expensive but e-commerce paying using Zelle or Apple Pay is sketchy to me it’s to hard to get money back if scammed because you approve the transaction. So I’m sketched now. Thoughts?

While I don’t disagree with you I read some stuff in a Facebook group which changed my mind about just ordering it.

So just looking for real experience with them….

There are tons of negative reviews online that I've seen, but I think a lot of it is just people complaining to complain. My experience with him was good, just be mindful of lead times and the fact he runs a small business so communication sometimes isn't the best. Here was my experience:

I initially placed an order with him last September for a brake light for my Chevy. He was running a 50% off sale so I thought why not. A month goes by and he offered another deal on WIY rear bumpers, so I hit him up and asked if he could make a 66" one (it wasn't initially offered that wide) so I could mount it on my Bronco. He said no problem and I submitted my order. On both orders he mentioned there's a 6-ish week lead time, which didn't bother me as everyone is back logged.

Probably 4 weeks later I get an email with a shipping notification. Figured it was my brake light and decided to get some lights ordered. Well when the package showed up it was the bumper. I was stoked because it came in quicker than advertised, but left me wondering about the brake light.

Some more time goes by, and I reached out and he told me he would check on it, or there were delays with production, or the brackets were at powder coating. So I waited some more.

In January, I still haven't received my brake light, so I decided to give him a call and see what the update was. He answered, we talked for a few, and he issued me a refund and I received the funds before we hung up.

Everyone on Facebook claims they can never get ahold of him, or won't issue refunds, however, he has always answered when I've called, and typically get a response within a day by email or IG.

Drew had my 15 year old son’s 1997 T100 for 2 1/2 years here are the before and After pictures. My son’s grandfather passed away and gave him his T100 and a small amount of money he used to hire Drew’s Fab. Drew picked up The T100 December 2021 and brought it to his shop in Madera. Drew has stripped the truck of both stock parts and brand new parts that my son had purchased for Drew to install on the truck. My son has paid him over $15,000 and Drew will not return $5,000 in parts he kept. In June 2024, we finally had to go up and tow the truck home. We have all the invoices and proof of payment. No refund or apology offered.
My son has a truck with the transmission and the engine in the bed of the truck, no front wheels and tires, no suspension and no money.

Why not just take him to claims court if you dont mind me asking?

Crazy to hear this, and then see all the BBB inquiries from the link posted...

I literally just talked to him a couple of days ago for a price and availability on a rear bumper/hitch for my Raptor. He said get him the truck and he'll have it done same day.

He's always paid me on the spot for shock services I've done for him in the passed. It's really a bummer to see this because in my experience i have always been treated fairly. I hope it all works out for everyone...

I have seen a TON of negative things about Drews Fab, I understand he's a small shop with small shop problems but there cant be that many customers that just want to cause problems. I only have 1 experience with Drews Fab and it was delays and delays, parts didn't fit and had to be redone etc but eventually got parts that still didn't fit and modified ourselves. In my opinion if its in stock you should be fine, custom order hold off until its in stock. If you don't get it within 30 days file a credit card dispute and be done

I will tell you this his work is super good but my brother had him weld his long travel kit and bread in uniballs. He would avoid returning my brothers kit and it’s been 7 months we finally got the arms and shock towers but all the heims are missing and he refuses to return em. Gives us bs excuse of oh hell mail em or he’ll meet us and always bails. My brother is 16 and works his ass off for everything he owns. Drew knowing this still won’t give us the parts or mail his stuff and won’t even pay him back to make it right don’t ever go to drew. I also have a buddy who ordered a spindle for his Silverado through him and it’s been over a year and he hasn’t sent it and has blocked him now for asking where it’s at
