Steve over at DD is thinking about another run of these kits. So I thought I would spread the word, in case there might be more interest. He needs a couple more people.
Pretty cool set up. Black Hat from Terra Crew has been running one of the og kits. I know of one FJ that runs it, might work on a GX too.

Feel the same way haha the fpg/opt kit looks great, theres just no room for a decent set of shocks on the rear of these pigs. Could probly squeeze a 2.5x12 in there with a little work, I think that's what cali fab runs with their kit.

Also toyed with the idea of going spring under and setting it up how GIANT does with their explorers. I've also seen a spring under 4thgen with a cantilever setup but that's a little beyond the scope of my capabilities haha

Yea, my fab skills are severly lacking, so the cantilever would be outta my skill level, and I've heard that shock tuning on a cantilever is tough. Im still looking at more travel. Ive also been thinking about CaliFabs 3 link as I have his 4 link and Chance builds pretty good stuff.
I got a deal on some brand new 14" triples, so I'm researching cutting into the cab and keeping the 4 link. Installed a shorter FJ tank and with some offset heims on the upper links, I think I could have the clearance for droop. Just need to figure out how to get more up and a lower ride height. Cutting into the cab is doable, but a huge commitment. Picture is a GX on IH8MUD, but he lost it in a fire, so I don't think he finished it. His work was on point though.

Speaking as someone with a (1st gen) 4runner on leaf springs and a cantilever, I'd go links ALLLLLL day long. Dgaf if its 'only' 18"-20" of travel. Link it! Plus I hear links pull bitches...

[that said, Im super happy with the back of my 4runner, I just hate dealing with heavy-ass leaf springs and the hassle of going to deaver if I need something done]
