and thats why i have only gone 2 times in the last 10+ years. everyone thinks there used beat up shit thats broken or half broken is gold. the new stuff people bring is good but if i need it, i will call and get it.Didn't sell great much less than usual. Rain started around 4 on sat and made it miserable so loaded up and left. Didn't see anything good when walking and shopping and everything I would be interested in they were asking too much close to my shop prices.
that makes total sense. all new trucks seem to be made by the same manufaturers gieser, brenthal, herbst and mason... And they just replicate the same truck a million times so less supplies to unload unless they close down a race team.ORW in corona i think is having a big over stock parking lot sale this week end. curt should be hitting up these shops and others to come out for the offroad swap meet. offer them some "benefits" to come out.
if i remember right, it all started when TT racing started. all these teams were experimenting with different ways and everything was one off hand made. they were getting big money" compared to the old budget". they had to unload a pile of parts stock, mod, hand made race parts. so curt put this together.
the socia aspect is great. i will go more but with low expectations and if i randomly score something then thats a bonus.
an all nighter in the summer would be fun.
