My dad has slowly been building a baja for a number of years now, nothing too over the top, air cooled, bus box, etc, etc. we decided to go 8” wider than stock, it is equal spread, so the caster will be accounted for when it goes in the car, he is running 2.500 longer x 2.00 wider arms with a c/o bypass combo. The material is 2.00 x 120 4130, and the plate work is .080 4130. I cheated and bought the end plates from Kartek, we still need to mount the rack and p/s ram, but i will do that once we cycle the front end.
