brOverlandurrr checking in

Hello from the front range of Colorado. I'm Nate -- not at all new to wheeling, but still kinda new to the Overlandurr thing. "Rig" is nothing special at all, but it does what I need for time being, as well as being my daily.

Did Fins n Things (yes, I know -- "it's easy") on a transmission with about half its fluid left (unknowingly, symptoms started on the way home a day later) and no lockers within 2 weeks of purchasing it, good enough for me.

Still getting used to the small tires and no lockers, compared to my Dad's Jeeps and my old Ranger (pictured).

07 V8 4runner, 200k miles, 2.5inch lift, 32s, full steel skids, sliders, winch, drawers with a buncha shit in the trunk. Recently put in an e-locked 8.2, some Eimkeith parts, and towed our new popup camp trailer home. No more tent, been ground tenting and now transitioning into the popup. Sleep in the car on trips without the wife.

Woops, forgot to add pictures of the work-in-progress lifted popup trailer.

2003 Starcraft 1701L, about 13feet long tip to tail. 7.5 inches taller than stock, 27s vs 21s

Nothing special -- just a spring over, 5-lug hub swap, and slightly wider and stronger bumper+spare tire reinforcement. Planning on possibly gutting the useless stock propane fridge and retrofitting a chest-style electric fridge on a slide. 100aH Renogy lithium battery, portable solar panel.

Otherwise, lots of cleaning to do, new cushion covers and new matresses, Dometic faucet and new sink soon to be added. Nearly perfectly level with the 4runner with a 3/4" rise hitch (upside down 2" drop)

oh hell yea! You need to get one of those lock-and-roll hitches for this thing.

Thought about it, it'd have to be a BAD angle to roll the thing, I don't plan on taking it on anything other than dirt roads or mild rocks camping. For now, until it scares me, the ball should be just fine (hopefully ).

Ranger was sold to help move to Colorado and get a rig out of my dad's shop. At most, it was only used 10 times a year, sadly, but everytime was 10x harder than anything I've done in the last 5 years, all Extreme trails in WA or deep snow.

Last I heard, it's somewhere in Arizona, and it's green!

totally... I'm sure you'll be just fine without it...I've been back in the dunes in Pismo with my in-law pop up with just Ball.. I know we got pretty twisted up

On to the next adventure with 4runner.
