What’s up guys!?

Been wanting to build another truck and didn’t really know which way to go!

3 week progress from stock truck to fun little prerunner/cruiser.

Bought a 1997 Ranger with 4.0

Found a parts truck that was wrecked that had 2.5 14” king coilovers and 2.5 16” king bypass’s
Giant engine cage
McNeil beam kit with trans crossmember
Front glassworks front fenders

Swapped all that onto the new truck.

Got some new McNeil bedsides, built a bolt on front bumper, added 3 hella 4000 HIDS, added Giant Motorsports 64” link killer kit, started building a bedcage and added 6 new 35” tires on method wheels

IMG_2899.jpegIMG_2898.jpegIMG_2900.jpegSo we have absolutely been using the hell out of this thing! It’s been so much fun having such a simple easy truck!

Lost of trails and trips already!

Acquiring more parts for cheap! Picked up a new light rack and lightrack for $200 bucks!!!! I literally thought it was a joke… haha

Also got some new lights mounted on the A pillars with a new 8 gang switch panel kit from GG Lighting. These GP20’s in amber are suuuuper bright! I got two for dust lights as well.

Saw that on RDC what a steal figured it was already gone so I didn't bother. Came with the actuator to?

Yes sir came complete as you see it, surprisingly I saw them on there at 4:45am…, then at 5pm I decided to text him and ask if they were available and he said yes, paid for them right then and there lol
Score of the century

Those GP20’s are awesome for the money! I put a couple behind the bumper cover on my wife’s Hyundai and they keep surprising me with how well they’ve held up

Have done a bunch things to this lately just making it as reliable as possible! Had a couple CEL on the dash so just started replacing all the common things to make this thing more reliable.

Full engine service
Plugs and wires
New fuel pump
New water pump/thermostat
New upper and lower intake gaskets
Evap purge valve and solenoid
New fuel filler neck/cap
All new o2 sensors
Injector O rings

Have been on multiple trips now with this thing it’s been such a blast.

Doing so much trail and desert stuff I wanted to have a place where I could keep more stuff and not packed into the cab. Started building a new hinged storage rack. Uses 1” tubing and 3/4” expanded metal. 5/8” heims on the front to lift like a truck lid. I removed the strap and made a sleeve and tabs to run the strap bolt through and that is what holds the rack down into place. Gonna add some gas strut shocks to keep it up when getting to the ice chest and rest of the bed.

Storage rack is killer man, I love seeing this sort of thing on a build, you know shit is getting used properly when custom parts start getting a bit utilitarian!
