Local Legend 69 Jeepster Trail Rig

New built trans is back. New HD case, Heavy duty clutches, HD springs, Reverse manual VB, 4L80 HD drum and all the other tricks we had. I love having my boys in the shop to lend a hand. At BFR we get it done. Haha

Todays action. I added some tubes to my sliders. My plan to tube them out and then add some 1/2” UHMW.

I am working on some gussets for the pivots. My goal is to make this whole subframe style skid to get flat belly.

I also started designing some new removable fender mounts. These will be cut out of steel with a wire mesh inlay.

Watching KOH while making parts. That is a fun weekend in my world. The heater under the welding table is a rad deal. Just be careful, the table gets hot.

When I lowered the hood and grill shell I created a large fender gap at the firewall. I chopped that up and made some filler panels.

The heated work bench is the best. Just have to pay attention because it gets HAF!!! Mill is up on the stand. Stoked to have this tool even though it’s old and used. After some elbow grease it will be perfect for me.
