Upcoming Trip 2026 King Of The Hammers - King of the Canners

Is anyone really paying for the camping permit ticket, the KOH website says every vehicle spending the night needs a 50$ permit? also I cant figure out the kids waiver this year? I get so confused by the KOH ticket process each year I normally figure it out and then when I go through the entrance the event staff is surprised and happy I have everything because i guess most people don't.

Last year was my first time, went solo for the desert challenge, and just sort of meandered. Slept in the back of the bronco, boondocked near turkey claw (I think).
This year I am planning again for desert challenge, Jan 30 - Feb 1. Might have a buddy tag along but he isnt sure yet. I will try to talk him into doing some canners work. If he doesnt go, then I should be around to do some work at least one of the mornings.

If anyone else is having issues finding the tickets/waivers for the kids.
After you’ve selected your adult tickets, it should show an option to add a camping pass or Kids tickets. BUT, it looks as though they have a problem with the site, where the this add on option is not populating to the page when you’re doing it from your phone.

SO, if you’re needing kids tickets, do it on your computer, not your phone. 👍🏼

Also, looks like today is the last day before prices go up, as mention by someone else before.

Used to be just camping vehicles so I've never bought one. Will need one this year as bringing the motorhome and that's not making it through the wash around the gate!

I mean I'll probably just buy one of the camping permits. its for a good cause right? I always assume the high ticket prices are to afford the event insurance for all the drunk retards shooting fireworks at one another. that and the sweet live feed.

I do believe so. It’s worth it though.
It’s not worth it for a day
Is the only general admission option to get in the $100 full 3 week pass? Never been before and I realistically would only be able to swing a day or two at most.
Just drive around the gates on the left side of main entrance if you have something that can go slightly off road RV or truck and trailer not recommended

Last year they had that area blocked off from camping and Rangers patrolling the area.

Any word on what day/night Tacos in the dunes is?

Also wondering about wheeling runs either night or day? I saw the one listed above about rattlesnake canyon. Would like to wheel closer to hammers. Really want to do Sledgehammer to the top of the lookout. Never done it before though.
