Yeaaa bummed coudnt make it out to lazertown last weekend but with it so close to Thanksgiving and kids sports couldnt make it happen. Looked like a good time out there.

No Booth out at hammers. Honestly sitting out on the lake bed in a booth all week sounds painful... we'll be out wheeling and picking up trash each morning a the clean ups at Cholate Thunder and back door and emptying the Canners having fun. We will be camped near Turkey Claw.

That's a better way to enjoy the desert anyhow. I havent joined you guys for a clean up before. how will we locate you to help out? big ass BLGT flag on the truck or something?

Have a buddy who helps with son's of smokey and they did it a couple years ago and said he'd never do it again lol

id like to come out to this, never been before! Likely just do a day trip or one night. is it usually better to go out the first weekend or second weekend?

I have never been, my brother has gone at least the last 3-4 years and has always bought me a pass, but I have not been able to make it. I will try again this year. I do have a commitment end of Jan, early Feb, so we have to work around that.

@badlinesgoodtimes do you have any connections that might help me help Verizon with a spot for a temp tower this year. My company offered to set it up to get some cell overage out there for the boys. We do them for most big events and Hammers hasn't on their radar so hopefully this will get it on the list for coming years. Attached photo is from the Palisades fire.

That would be freaking sweet, you have to drop into the next valley to get on another tower most days.

Maybe it was mentioned but where are all my fellow dirtbag Toyota guys camping at? We always camp west-ish of the 3willer circle so we’re mostly out of the dust and can watch race car stuff from on top of the camper.

This is my first year bringing a capable enough unit to actually wheel so I don’t want to miss out on any of the trail run festivities. We do participate in some of the nighttime tomfoolery as well.

I’ll be there Jan 30th-Feb 2nd for the desert racing weekend. We have a pretty big group, but mostly stock-ish trucks so I end up doing desert runs by myself.

Stumbled across a few of the BLGT friends last year at the spectator spots and camp.

It’s always a good time watching trucks go fast, seeing internet friends and being in the desert.

I introduced a few friends last year….they are coming back, so I guess it worked.

Ill be out a little earlier than you. Swing by our camp and you are more than welcome to come out prerunning with me/us! Ill probably be out most the day Thursday and friday
