This is a all weekend gig. So your truck will be in there in the show from Friday when you pull it in between 12- 6 pm to Sunday at 5:30pm


Move in Schedule :

- Friday, October 03 - 12pm - 6:00 pm All Exhibitors Move-In – Gate 10 (Newport Blvd. & Mesa Dr I plan to be there around 11 30 ish to help direct and get everyone sorted.

- Move-Out Schedule:
Sunday, October 05 | 4:00 pm - Staging Lanes Open at Gate 10 (off of S. Newport Blvd.) Display Vehicle Trailer Staging - Lot E, Green Gate (NW Corner)
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm | Show closes to the public / NO Movement until "All Clear" PA Announcement
5:30 pm - 5:45 pm | Display Vehicle Move-out ONLY – One-way traffic only WESTBOUND to Green Gate (Lot E, NW Corner)

Passes

- Every vehicle owner will get one Exhibitor pass for the weekend any additional passes would need to be purchased for each day . Use code BADLINES for $5 per ticket

For example :
Wife 2 tickets
Child 2 tickets

4 tickets total one for each person for each day

Parking

-Exhibitor Parking Passes  3-day parking passes can be purchased in advance for $18.00/Each (per vehicle)  The OC Fair & Event Center parking rate is $12.00 per day (available on site at the gate only) I need to know who would like to buy a pass so I can get these ahead of time

- Trailer parking is free

Bad Lines "requirements"

- Each truck needs to have a build thread. It doesn't have to be crazy detailed. Just a basic overview of the truck really. I am going to make QR code that people can scan will link them to your build thread back here on the site. The goal is to continue to grow the community you all have helped me create.

- There will be no cost other than parking and your families additional tickets. If any one wants to donate to support cause they can.

I will confirm with you by tomorrow or Saturday morning. Just need to talk to my kid to see if he's still serious and where he's at getting a trailer built. I think it should have it by then.
If its not done, I'm not sure if he's down to drive the 2 hours plus in the Ranger with 2 year old expired tags.

If he is, I will whip up a build or spec thread with some pics pretty quick. ( I should still do one even if he is not bringing it)
 
I’m considering coming and bringing Brittany. Do you guys have any plans other than the show while down there? I’m thinking that many hours at the show might be a little boring, and one more weekend away from the wife.


As always, try to mix business with pleasure, maybe I’ll hang at the show Friday, then Saturday the wife and I go off and do some stuff together, and then come back to the show Saturday night and Sunday morning?
Just spit balling here.

I was trying to think about what I was gonna do, also.

Any 805 guys dropping their truck off on Friday evening and coming home for the night?
 
We are in with the Explorer we currently finishing up. Race truck is beat and still needs to fix it from the roll over. I will let you know on the passes etc. Pretty stoked for this. I enjoy looking at the trucks that were built from production vehicle over the TTs.

I'd be down to do that. I know Chelsea isn't going to want to camp in the pop up in a hot asphalt parking lot for two nights with nothing to do at the expo for two days with our newborn lol.

Are you towing the F150 out, so you'll have a way to get us back with the tow van Friday night?

right. I think its also important to realize most people at the expo will never have a TT. so its cooler to see trucks that might be obtainable, vs unlimited fund built trucks.

100% what the goal of the whole display. Used and abused, mostly garage built trucks that are obtainable to the 16 year old kid that wants to get on here or what ever forum to learn and chip away over many years.

I totally get that. Definitely don't expect anyone to hang out next to their truck the whole time. It's a long weekend.
I'll be posted up in the booth all weekend shaking hands and kissing babies. We are going to get a hotel down there and make a weekend out of it my wife will probably take the kids out to the beach on of the days. Costa Mesa is pretty close to Huntington/ Newport area.

Go ahead and mark us Confirmed. He's excited to be part of this. I will dig up some pics and do a spec sheet / build thread for him, hopefully by next week.
Sadly we don't have many actual build pics over the 9 years it took him to get to this point with it.

This is exactly my kid. Had the Ranger since he was 16 and he's 25 now. He built it as the funds came in. So it seems like every 2 years was the next phase of improvement on it. Hope you all don't mind though that he's still part of the unpainted white fender club.
