Upcoming BLGT Meet 2025 OFFROAD EXPO OCT 4-5, OC FAIR GROUNDS..

So how do we get a BLGT "IM GOING" post pic for social media like the Terra guys have? Also, it would be rad to have all 3 raptors park together @Aaron and @Cleandezert and myself. Just saying.
I was messaging with Elliot about this. Kinda sounds like we should put the word out, tag blgt and offroad expo.

I am up for staging the vehicles however it works best for the show.

Here’s the first post I put out, as usual trying to keep it light and not take myself too seriously

Over and Out

I'd be down to do something after hours if someone wanted to schedule/plan something and do the work to plan it like last year. That was super fun! But like E said i also have way to much on my plate. And with my truck being locked in the fair grounds it's gotta be walking distance and children friendly. Hell, just grab some brews and come hang out at my room across the street lol.

Replying back to the thread after talking over DM. And im in, truck will be doing 300 miles through the mojave desert the weekend before. Ill do a trip breakdown and do some updates on the build thread prior. Sounds like a great time.

Leave the truck dirty full of camping gear? Or clean for the show and shine?
I’m struggling with this question. Should I show up as it sits in my driveway 99% of the time full of dirt and dust or get a nice detail on it and clean it out…

I will be working on cleaning it up. But how it is set up is still up in the air. @badlinesgoodtimes do you want full packout look or setup for camp without the extra crates (kitchen box, food crate, fluids crate)?

As far as the the clean vs dirty.. I mean I was gunna rinse my trucks off and clean the windows. But do you, this isn't a hot rod tuner car meet.

As far as loading the trucks up sure gear them up. But know that you want to have everything secured, people suck and if you leave something easy to grab it might grow legs.

If you can strap/lock everything would be my recommendation

I detailed mine last weekend, (first time putting a clay bar to it) but it’ll be back to being hammered after the trip. But I might just wipe it down a little, not go full in depth cleaning.IMG_1274.jpeg

As far as locking everything down, thoughts on taking out my steering wheel? Think someone would snag it?

Right there too . Would like to leave the windows down so they can see the inside. Usually hang the steering wheel off the cage. But would hate for the steering wheel and Rugged head sets to disappear. Thinking of just cracking the windows enough to see in but not reach in and unlock the door.
