Thanks! Is this you guys?
Yup! That was us. We won our class beating out the factory canam guys (they got 2nd). Nates award speech was pretty funny. Ya’ll need to listen to that lol
Thanks! Is this you guys?
I did that and they’re just pushing those gates further down the road trying to block out the areas making it harder to just spectateIf you offroad into the camping area aka not drive down boone road you can get in for free. I did it before but this year i'm going to contingency so I got a wrist band.
Yeah but you head to a weekend race and pay nothing it’s a big event and I get all that costs money but $100 a person is crazy plus add some other options like a day pass for the guys that don’t need a full week there or a route to avoid the lines if they’re not payingIf you buy tickets early they are only $50. And they’ve got to pay for insurance, police, medical… the list goes on. It takes a lot to put on an event like this
If you bought the tickets early they were $50. Even at $100 That's less that it cost for a full tank of gas for your Tundra for a 2 week long event. Drive through hammer town and just take a look at the infrastructure that makes it all happen. The Medical Staff, Police, Security at all the gates, fencing, the bathrooms, the tall gates that you drive through, the stages for concerts, BLM Permits, Trash Service, Insurance, etc. If I remember correctly, you are in construction? So you understands cost of equipment and labor, Insurance, permits.$100 per person is insanity. If you’re not towing then just go around the gates, there’s 100 other trails into the place besides Boone Rd.
The TT race was a good time today! Really wished we had an ez-up, it got pretty toasty today.
oh 100% staying just a day and paying $100 a head is rough definitely something if possible got make it a few day trip to get the bang for your buck.I’m all for paying money to support our sport but I think they need to figure out a cheaper day pass option. $400 for my family to desert watch a race and walk around a vendor area for the day is pretty insane.
Just different color bands they do it at other style eventsoh 100% staying just a day and paying $100 a head is rough definitely something if possible got make it a few day trip to get the bang for your buck.
Thinking about the day pass on KOH's end how would they keep track of that?
Still cheaper than going snowboarding for the day $200+for lift tickets or even most sporting events with decent seats.
Next year just get your tickets early when they are 50 bucks head.
yea could work. Idk bro I'm just the only cans guy..Just different color bands they do it at other style events

You do you. If you want to sneak in and not pay. That's up to you. You are 100% you don't need to pay.
I prefer to support cool off-road events so they
Right? So where’s the happy medium?I’m all for paying money to support our sport but I think they need to figure out a cheaper day pass option. $400 for my family to watch a desert race and walk around a vendor area for the day is pretty insane.
It's $50 for early birds, $25 if you're a Veteran, free if you're active duty, and I think free if you can find "locals" tickets if the high desert is your hood.Any one else think KoH is kind of a scam now paying $100/person to get onto public land when the only actual thing that should be paid to get into is hammer town
Yeah i know a few local spots in yucca valley sold tickets I heard for $39.
I got 2 extra wrist bands and a camping pass sticker from a friend who went last weekend that anyone on the forum can have if they need it or want to go spectate for the day and not buy wrist bands for 2 people
and then where if you have a idea or how to meet up incase the kaos (and there will be).Friday 7th around 4ish is the plan meeting at Forty. Which I know might not be great for you with EMC Friday.
