So I'm in search of any potential kits or files for boxing in the rear frame of a standard cab tacoma. I ripped off a leaf perch at KOH and patched it up but I want to now box the whole rear frame in. Would it just be better to retube the rear frame with rectangle tubing?

Awesome I'll probably reach out to the company and see what all the difference really is cause that looks perfect

Years ago Dezert toy fab before he started he brough me a paper template of the rear frame and I scanned it into my program and exported a dxf file for him to have cut out on a bigger table than my 4x4 so he wouldn't have to piece it together. If you want to make a template and mail it to me I can scan it in and make it a dxf file for ya for $60 than you can get a local plasma guy to cut out for ya or laser

That was my next option. Can't find anything besides piecing it together with flat plate.

Im almost tempted to design a kit for this at this point
I don’t even try to fix/upgrade the stock frame. It’s way too easy to back half them and never think about it again
