Hey guys,

new to this forum, I have my build over on Irate 4x4 but figured I would bring it over here as well. Bare with me as I get photos and everything uploaded.

https://irate4x4.com/threads/ray-charles-tacoma-build.383071/

Picked up this 02 Tacoma in March of 2021 (103k miles on the 3.4) with a 3 link and a d44 (5.38s, Reid knuckles with ARB and Yukon Chromo shafts), stock rear axle (5.29s, elocker) on chevy 63s with an auto trans for a deal. I thought I would just need to redo the front links, that snowballed into rebuilding the whole truck. Truck looked like Ray Charles welded everything on it blindfolded. Huge thanks to my buddies colinsmithslo and @Pedaltodd for all the help along the way

I redid the front 3 link with the 44 axle and ran that for about a yr until I bent the front housing so bad it was smoking the tires. Started doing the 1 ton swap in March of 2022 and got it finished Sept of 2022

Wheeled the truck like this on Rubicon, a lot of Shaver lake trails and Cougar Butts, it worked ok for what it was. I wheeled on the stock auto case for 2 yrs before doing the eco box.
