1988 Toyota Pickup

I used 89-94 4runner seats in my single cab which sat pretty close to the floor and the back wall and world's better than the bench. I found a second passenger seat and used the bottom foam and cover to redo the clapped out drivers seat.

I’ll keep my eye out for a set, thank you

Yo!

Here’s what I did on my extra cab truck:
Forward seat tube is 1.25x0.065” 4130 tied into cagework and stock floor with sickgnar dimpled 0.050” sheetmetal. Nuts welded to seat tabs, forward bolts go inboard toward outboard.

Rear is the difficult area to reach when installing and removing seats, so I put those bolts thru the floor:

Inboard side goes thru the floor and the underside ~0.090” thick stock doubler. I welded a little stub tube to that doubler.

Outboard side has a 3/16” tab welded to the door sill bar and the floor:

These Flat-Shoulder Rod End Bolts are attached to the seat tabs with exorbitantly expensive aircraft hardware, and they allow tilt adjustability at the back of the seat.

Most of that seems to be outside the scope of work you’re looking to do on your truck, but maybe an intermediate bracket that’s flat to the floor that interfaces the seat tabs?

That’s what I was thinking, I’ll figure somethin out. I appreciate the help

Ive got a clapped-out set of bucket seats out of an 89-95 reg cab truck if youre looking for something cheap (Id definitely plan on taking them to an upholstery shop).
