I have been on the forum for a while, and never got around to posting. But with the upcoming cinders trip figured i would dig through some old pics and upload some stuff i had from dezert rangers before it died. Most of these pics are from 2021-2022 when i first put the solo motorsports kit on, since then a lot has changed and i have definitely learned a lot more about fabrication through my work and personal projects.

2022-current: A lot changed, i had plans of doing a ruff stuff 3 link but decided that wasn’t practical or necessarily the best option for what i want to do with the truck, I decided to go with deaver f67s I was lucky enough to have all the resources from JD fab where i was working and was able to use all their pivots for the spring under conversion along with a tundra housing i bought on marketplace, lots of thought went into my bedcage design, i wanted to fit a 16” shock outside the frame and still be able to fit a bike in the bed, i first built the bedcage with some smooth body bilsteins but quickly realized i wanted more so i went to some 2.5x16 3 tube bypasses from king along with 2.5x8 coilovers for the front

my current goal before heading out to cinders is to fully box the rear section of my frame, build a little tube bumper for the rear, and install my sweet billet heim tie rods from rpg, other than that i have been enjoying progressing along with the truck over the past few years

Hey Looking to do a spring under conversion too I’ve been looking at the f67s as well for it. did you have to move the spring hangers or just the u bolt perch? Thanks man

F67's require moving the front hanger and rear shackle location as well as longer shackle (9" or 12" usually) plus the spring perch and shock mounts. There is a ton of info out there. Check out the build thread on "Rusty red" a lot of chatter about spring shackle placement on there.

I did a tundra housing with new spring perches for SUA, u bolt plates, front hangers and 9”rear shackles as well as new shackle pivots through the frame. All of the parts are from JD Fab and I would say if your gonna do it just do it all at once (wider housing, bedcage and spring under)
