If you push the front axle forward at least an inch you can avoid cutting the rear of the front fender with 37's
Are you planning on cross over steering and hydro assist? It makes a huge difference with these trucks. Same as swapping over to serpentine belts from the v belts. Gmt 400 stuff...
Mine was originally a 4.9/m5od truck, I found a guy parting a 91 f150 and bought the front end, trans/tcase and x member. Everything bolted in drivetrain wise, I sourced a automatic trans rear drive shaft and trimmed a couple inches off to make it work.
So, I recently did a scsb 2wd to 4wd, and have a m50d, as best as I could find no one makes a factory replacement driveshaft.
I ended up buying an auto trans driveshaft and cut a few inches off to make it fit.

Might as well! I did the same thing in an old k5 on a trail in bfe alaska. Ditching the sway bar up front will help the ride a little bit, they bind when used with lift springs.
