Its still moving along. they got rid of the collector car insurance mandate which is great and Jay Leno continues pushing this along which is super helpful for exposure. we just need to stay positive and contact your gov reps in support. The...
This is my 2011 Canfield Brothers, Yelli Screamy. I bought it in 2014 for 700$ compete, its been a great bike. Its was kinda ahead of it's time with the short chainstays slack head angle. For the types of riding I do (mainly Sky Park) it's not too outdated. It's got a white brothers loop...
I have done a ton of hiking mostly by myself I find it very meditative, honestly getting on a hiking trail by myself in the middle of nowhere I find spiritual, like what I think others feel at church on Sundays, lol.
Also I don't believe in tying the cage to the rock sliders. the rock sliders take a bunch of abuse that I don't like introducing into the cage tie ins and if you wheel hard enough and long enough rocks sliders can become consumables.
Key is radius bends. I plan to do the same as you but I'm going to skip the cowl bar and skip the B pillar and use 2" tubing. The upper outside corner of the firewall typically has a lot of girth to tie into not like the center area where its tin foil. the cowl bar under the hood is a good idea...
Are those 18" stroke? they look a just like a set I traded to a guy in the central valley a year and a half ago.
nevermind I looked the ones I had were piggyback, good shocks though, especially when you get a deal on them
Pic1 So researching these old school radius arms I came across guys that aren't happy with the flex do this wristed radius arm on one side. It basically acts like 3 link. I'm not gonna do this now but I will highly consider it. Let me know your thoughts. To be its the right level of rock...
I really hope this goes through. The 2 groups of people that are driving 25+ old vehicles are enthusiasts who have found creative but annoying ways around smog crap and low income people who cant afford something newer and really get screwed by the current system of disposable good running...
Things I love about Kusters, no sissy soft jaws needed to service, the more vise waffle iron marks you collect on them the better they are.
Things I don't like about Kusters, every shock end is blown out so you have to use aluminum tape sleeve retainer on every com12 bearing.
Ultra made the original Robby wheels and according to to a old RDC thread they loosely modeled them off these Ultra 5051s so the Robby wheel is basically a expensive rip off of these wheels.
Got 2 more of theseamerican made Ultra 5051 wheels for 60$. I now have a total of 6. I always liked these wheels but rarely see people run them, not sure why.
