Ok! About to go on a pretty light camping trip got got everything loaded up stoked on how it came out and excited to see what I would change. Might change the cooler location but I think I might want to add a leaf or something bc she’s pretty squatted and pretty close to the bumps, it rides fine...
Didn’t go with that 20 but I snagged a 65 qt 😬 rtic off market place for 50 bucks I don’t think I could pass it up I’ll prob want a smaller one in the future but it was a lot of cooler for 50 bucks lol
Ok so I made this little bed platform for an upcoming lite camping trip. There is still a hole in the bed so I’m going to flex seal the bottom and carpet the top and I am going to have a shell back on it so that will help and I will have it bolted down. but it has been nice to have some storage...
Heck ya dude! Looks killer I like the idea of having that sort of modular skeleton above the bed. And I think it’s cool u used the bed mounts instead of tying it into a cage or something, have u ever had to outfit it with camping gear or does she just ride on the trailer?
Yo so idk if this is a good Idea but I need some inspiration lol, I want to see people bed setups for trips, how stuff is secured where you put it and any specific gear recommendation would be rad. Also any lessons people have learned over the years and things not to do. Specifically for me I...
Heck ya dude, This thing is rad! Love to see these old trucks set up right and put some bigger shocks on them, I see your going with the bypasses and bumps in the front. Do u have any plans to change your shock angle in the back?
so with much thought i think i'm going to have to hold off on wheels and tires for now, cost being my limiting factor :/. Shit is expensive lol, but I have found a set of 35x10.5 x 15 non dot tires from a buddy he says they would work and fit the steelies i have now. but i'm assuming they...
so cool! haven't seen one of these swapped but i dig it totally reminds me of dante's peak, idk if the one in the movie had a solid axel or not but still. did theses ever come from the factory with a solid axel?
here are some more pics of flexing it at a buddys shop, nothing rubs and everything works as it should. super surprised on how much it flexed and how well i did considering its my first build lol. still going to have to trim when i go to bigger tires but that's no biggie. oh and i'm not running...
after the last few months its on the road! I will have to say the front and rear shock mounts / bump stops took me waaaay longer than i thought. but after a few iterations of each im pretty happy with both, there was a lot more cutting than i thought but that's what happens when you try and fit...
