TT luxury prerunner Ranger

New on here, I’m from the central coast (Nipomo, Ca) so wanted to start a thread on my new version of my ranger setup. My previous set up was a simple throwin together 4 link I beam ranger. I disliked a lot of what was going on with that build. I bought it as is with the parts on it but redid all wiring an a lot of the suspension fab work including double swing steering. Took it to KOH two years then decided it was time to cut it up. Just like everyone else in this hobby you want to be the biggest/fastest in the dirt. I finally bit The bullet and started planning to see what this new version was going to look like. And then I did just that I cut up a perfectly good truck and started it’s new life as a 4130 chromoly chassis With capability of racing when ready. Currently just got my 4” housing from wicked creations and will be getting the upper and lower links in an upper shock mounts in the front a rear of the truck down. Still have a good amount of parts to buy but I’m getting closer every week.

change the background/walls/shop/misc. and photoshop it into the Camburg shop and id totally believe it was on of their builds or someone like that haha

thank you man! Means a lot. Attention to detail is how I roll. I try not to get to crscy with it but definitely want it to be a work of art. And yes I fab for a living. I am currently 23 years old i graduated from the fab school in Rancho Cucamonga going on about 3 years ago now. Let me know if you guys have more questions or want to pick my brain about the build. I will be posting more pictures shortly

Nice work. Not too many nice prerunners on the central coast. I'm from Santa Maria and that's where my first shop was and where I lived all 2021.

my old setup had a similar bumper setup but it was all tube. I wanted something with plate design an strength. It was welding .063 4130 shaped to the plate .190 4130 fully pen. Weld it then Sand to make look like it was all one solid piece. Lots of work but was pretty satisfied with the outcome. Also cut out old factory cross member and made knew one. Motor is pushed back 14” and 2”lower then factory mount

Not that I’ve seen a whole ton of work from Fab School graduates, but this is by far the best fabrication I’ve ever seen from a Fab School graduate. Keep it up
