This has been an on-going spotting with a truck near my neighborhood. I saw a clean, stock, 1st gen Explorer driving home from work and I thought to myself that would make a great platform for a build. A couple months go by and its sitting a little stink bug like it got a leaf pack and I got a little excited. Some more time passes without seeing it and it IS being built.

Nice 64-66 K20. I see GM 14 bolt rear axle I wonder if that's factory K20 or swapped onto something newer.

@the_fablab_ and myself 6.0L LS swapped my parents K20 many years ago. My high school truck was a 65 Chevy K10 factory 4x4.

Clean 5th Gen Toyota Pickup on the 710 / 10

Just saw this on Friday in Downey on Bellflower Blvd. Looking good first Gen Tacoma with a 98-00 headlight / grill and 01-04 fender flares.


Awesome Explorer I saw when I was working on my junk up at the FabLab (seen it on here too I know - proportions are wild in person).


Stock 1st Gen on Firestone in Downey - see this one pretty often on my morning commute. If this was social media there might be a comment about Ford guys and the placement of that trailer ball.

Super clean 4th Gen Yota Pickup I talked to the owner who is a Glamis guy from Downey -getting fuel for his sand toys when I saw him.

New truck bro’d out with methods and 34’s at El Monte / Longo Toyota - like the new Land Cruiser but it’s expensive for a smaller platform than the 6th Gen 4runner imo.
