That would have confused the hell out of me if I was going to the “pick A part” trying to get extra hubs and came across one of these lolYeah I had no idea the top hat style hub front ends existed on d44 broncos either until I bought one, now had 3, for parts

Looking good! Nice work.
Thank you!Looking good! Nice work.
Thank youthat looks awesome! killer work!
Turboyota I appriciate all the addaboysI like all the dimpled cage-to-cab tie-in plates. Beautiful work, the the time it take to tig all those cannot be understated. Plus the tig yoga to be able to contort yourself into all sorts of uncomfortable positions whilst burning that shit in.
Tubework supporting all the swingers is also quite fantastic.
Thanks brothalooks soooooooooooooooooo good mang!!!!!!!
Dang you don't realize how helpful that was to read the explorer MC is the same as the bronco but reversed ports. My stock MC is converted to -3 fittings and the 90* on the front port contacts my coil over just ever so slightly if the shock is twisted in just right orientation at droop its always in the back of my mind!
What year Explorers
Cantilever brake MC is fairly common for clearance as well.
100% and way cheaper!Swapping to an opposite side port is 100x easier, though.
Thank you. I plan on plumbing in aftermarket residuals.Let me see if I can find the link of the one I bought. It’s been a while so I don’t remember which year it was.
And I found out about this swap on some forum or another,
The stock MC had the built in residual valve for the rear drums. I forget if this new MC was set up for drums in the rear. I just put an inline residual valve.
With that said I haven’t driven it yet, but it holds pressure and has a stiff pedal. Just keep that in mind.

You wouldn’t believe the shit I was devising up to clear my coil over![]()
