Trans Pan Sealing

Props goes to @Klever - The trans pan gasket you sent me has solved the issue!

I havent driven the truck yet, but i was able to remove all the rtv- i wire wheeled both the pan surface and the trans surface and it has sealed up well.

Thank you all for the help solving this issue! finally one less leak on my truck!

Heck yeah! I just got mine to seal up last night as well!. I used a rubber OEM gasket with the metal sleeves around the bolt holes, and replaced the output shaft seal. All dry now!

Thank you very much!! The only thing i noticed was some small silver specs at the very bottom of the trans pan. Nothing significant very minimal but im assuming its normal from break in since it was a new build.

If you find metal slivers..that would be the roller clutch..I would service it if so. Feel free next time to snap pics and send them my way and I can always help.

super small little specs in the very bottom of the pan. Not alot of them just a few. I havent changed the oil yet since it was rebuilt. This trans has maybe 100 miles on it since it was built by maximum

Ahh gotcha...probably nothing then. Run it until it breaks ha ha
